- Job Location: Bahrain
- Overall responsibility to carry out estimation and prepare proposals for key and strategic prospects covering the Africa region predominantly and occasional involvement in Middle East and other regions.
- Initial review of proposal documents and lead tender kick off calls
- Story board preparation, reviews and conversion into proposal narrative
- Preparation of tender responsibility matrices
- Study projects’ technical and financial requirements, and participate in tender development strategy.
- Prepare initial assessment of the technical, financial, schedule or any other unusual risks associated with a proposal.
- Organizes all technical written materials supplied by support groups including organization of sections, tables, exhibits, and attachments. Monitors proposal for accurate content and branding/format consistency and compliance
- Track and reports status of all proposal elements to proposal team. Anticipate potential problem areas and works with the Estimation and Proposals Manager to provide practical solutions to problems as they arise
- Preparation of complex cost models
- Ensure accuracy of costing, understand importance of price build-ups from the base cost
- Experience of working on complex pricing models, especially lump sum unit rates
- Preparation of deployment plans and schedules
- Understand third party costing, terms and conditions
- Coordinate reviews and approvals of tenders
- High proficiency in MS Office, capability to work on Primavera and MS Project
- Ensure actions are clearly understood and timely met such that there is uncompromising approach on tender deadlines
- Deal with pre and post tender clarifications
- Review of commercial terms and prepare qualifications
- Capable of writing full set of commercial terms for a tender
- Coordinate legal reviews
- Preparation of weekly and monthly tender reports
