Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Carry out precision work on conventional & CNC machines such as milling, lathe, surface grinding, and drill press in various ferrous metals to tolerances of +/- 0.005mm
2. Monitor and maintain moulds tool room machines and equipment through repair (breakdown maintenance) and preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules
3. Read and interpret mechanical & technical specifications and drawings
4. Knowledge of the use and application of G & M codes
5. Knowledge of design, specification, coordination and development of new tolls and moulds, their installation, modification and renovation of mould and equipment.
6. Knowledge and application of CAD/CAM and AutoCAD software packages
7. Experience of operation & set-up of vertical milling machine
8. Implement Kaizen, TPS methodology, and safety rules and regulations

Qualifications:
1. Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical)
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in repair and refurbishment of moulds, dies, jigs, stamping, and cutting tools
3. Experience in the operation of conventional machines and equipment preferably from the food packaging industry
4. Ability to work independently and with a team
