Job Description
A Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a company. This includes managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements. Additionally, the Finance Manager will provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and stakeholders, helping to drive business growth and profitability.Responsibilities:Developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the financial health and stability of the company.Leading and managing the finance team, including setting goals, providing guidance and support, and conducting performance evaluations.Preparing and presenting financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to the executive team and stakeholders.Monitoring and analyzing financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.Managing cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to ensure the companys financial stability and growth.Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, including tax filings and audits.Collaborating with other departments to develop financial strategies that support operational goals and objectives.Providing financial analysis and guidance for decision-making, including investment analysis, capital budgeting, and cost benefit analysis.Managing relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.Staying informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the companys financial practices remain up-to-date and compliant.Preferred Candidate:Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA certification is preferred.Minimum 6 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.Experience in strategic financial planning and analysis.Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make strategic decisions.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Proficient in financial software and systems, including ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
