We are currently recruiting for a Head of Business and Finance for a reputable Education Provider in Dubai.
The Head of Business and Finance assumes responsibility for supervising the Company’s Accounting, Finance, and other functional departments in all areas of the organization. This position plays a crucial role in strategically overseeing the financial planning, forecasting, execution, and administration of all business and financial operations within a multitude of verticals while maximizing the overall financial performance of the organization.
Job Description:
Demonstrated successful experience in utilizing financial strategies involving strategic thinking skills to analyze information and align financial objectives with organizational success
Proven track record of managing financial forecasting, internal and external audits, and substantial cash and investment management strategies, M&A transactional work.
Provide leadership and guidance over multiple functions of the organization to improve efficiencies.
Strong competencies in continual assessment of the competitiveness of the organization against relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets.
Demonstrate a history of successful implementation of financial strategies, utilizing strategic thinking skills to analyze information and align financial goals with organizational achievements.
Collaborate with the CFO /Board of Directors, including delivering presentations on financial outcomes.
Proven record of overseeing financial forecasting, internal and external audits, and implementing effective cash and investment management strategies, as well as engaging in M&A transactions.
Provide leadership and guidance across multiple functions of the organization, enhancing departmental quality and efficiency while reducing costs and increasing profits.
Demonstrate strong competencies in evaluating the competitiveness of the organization in relation to comparable Education providers in the UAE and GCC
Valuation analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment within the education sector in UAE and GCC
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and divestitures.
Proven track record of raising debt to implement large scale capital projects.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience with (5+) Years of Strategic Business and Finance leadership or equivalent role experience preferably in the Education sector in UAE/GCC.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA/ACA/CMA or MBA is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
