EnCompass LLC seeks Communications Manager candidates for a five–year, Makanati | USAID Women Economic Empowerment and Leadership Activity in Jordan. The purpose of Makanati is to contribute to increasing women’s access to waged employment and leadership opportunities in Jordan by improving women’s access to the job market, addressing inequalities and prohibitive social norms and traditions and enhancing the workforce enabling environment.
The Communications Manager will work with the Makanati team, leading the day-to-day communications activities, including developing and implementing a communications strategy that effectively describes the objectives, activities, and accomplishments of the Activity to all stakeholders. S/he will be responsible for fostering and maintaining favorable relationships with media, editors, reporters, communication heads of other USAID and donor projects, relevant USAID Offices, GoJ partners, community leaders, and stakeholder organizations. The Communications Manager will be responsible for supporting, creating, designing, and disseminating Makanati’s communication materials and content; promoting events; creating reports; and sharing achievements on all platforms including social media. S/he will ensure compliance with USAID marking and branding policies in all project activities including those implemented by Makanati’s local and international partners.
This position will be full-time and based in Amman, Jordan.
