As a wait, your responsibilities include:
Customer Service: Greet, seat, and serve customers. Take orders and offer recommendations.
Order Fulfillment: Serve food and drinks promptly, ensure accuracy, and handle payments.
Table Maintenance: Clear and reset tables, maintain cleanliness in dining areas.
Communication: Coordinate with kitchen staff and relay customer feedback.
Qualifications:
Previous customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with customers, relaying orders to kitchen staff, and collaborating effectively with team members.
Attention to Detail: Being attentive to customer needs, ensuring orders are accurately taken and fulfilled, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Adaptability: Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adjust to changing priorities and customer demands.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff, other servers, and management to ensure smooth operation of service and a positive dining experience for customers.
Time Management: Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, handle multiple tables efficiently, and ensure timely service.
Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry trays of food and beverages, and perform other physically demanding tasks as required.
Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as restaurant hours often extend beyond regular business hours.
Food Safety Knowledge: Basic understanding of food safety practices, including proper handling of food and beverages to ensure the health and safety of customers.
Previous Experience: While not always required, previous experience in a similar role or hospitality industry can be beneficial.
