Job Summary
The project Coordinator (PC) working for Leaders International for Economic Development is a full-time position based in Jordan. The PC should ensure the successful implementation of Leaders’ projects, through successful timely delivery of all activities, and coordination between the donor and other relevant partners. The PC will ensure quality monitoring of results and indicators. Additionally, the PC will manage the project staff, and oversee the coordination between the different partners and the donor. The PC will report directly to the Programs Director.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Private Sector Development Manager, the Project Coordinator must be responsible to performing the following tasks:
– Assist in project planning, coordination, and meetings with partner organization and donor as necessary
– Preparation of detailed and effective project action plan for project activities
– Ensure all project activities are implemented in a timely manner and according to donor’s rules and regulations
– Create and implement detailed work plans needed to successfully complete the project
– Conduct periodical field visits to verify project activities are implemented according to contractual targets
– Ensure that all subordinates have clearly defined objectives and understand their responsibilities
– Establish result-based work planning and follow up system
– Lead the development of communication and visibility materials for the program
– Ensure that all donor branding and visibility requirements are fulfilled
– Assist in managing the portfolios of beneficiaries as assigned by the department manager in terms of planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
– Backstop logistical functions in the department operations.
– Assist in organizing and managing department related events, workshops and seminars in coordination with related components and stakeholders.
– Act as a liaison between the department and its beneficiaries.
– Provide technical support to the organization team members as needed.

– Proven record of success and mastering project management cycle and donor communication
– Accomplished level in key competencies; delivering results, networking and influencing and cooperation Rights-based approach and participatory approach
