JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of the company through strategic business development initiatives, sales management, and effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM). This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing the sales team, and ensuring client satisfaction through CRM strategies. The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in achieving revenue targets, fostering strong client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the company’s growth goals and values.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market research and competitor analysis.
• Manage the sales team, including setting targets, performance evaluations, and coaching for success.
• Implement effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute sales campaigns and promotional activities.
• Ensure compliance with sales policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the finance department to manage sales budgets and forecasts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts, agreements, and proposals with clients and partners.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on business development and sales activities.
• Address any sales or CRM issues and emergencies promptly.
Requirements/Qualifications
• A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Sales certification is a plus.
• 5 – 7 years of experience in business development and sales management roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of sales strategies, CRM systems, and market trends.
• Proven ability to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and other relevant sales tools.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
