War Child Holland (WCH) is an international non-governmental organization that works exclusively to improve the well-being and resilience of children and youth affected by violence and armed conflict. WCH and its partners support children affected by the conflict in Syria through an integrated mix of child protection, education and psychosocial support interventions, while working closely with their caregivers, families and wider communities for maximum and durable impact.
We are seeking to strengthen our team and we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Programme Quality & Development Manager to join our dynamic team of professionals dedicated to helping children and their families positively deal with the consequences of being exposed to armed conflict.
As Programme Quality & Development Manager (PQDM), you will be responsible for leading programme development and institutional fundraising efforts. You will also oversee quality assurance and monitoring & evaluation in the areas of Education, Child Protection (CP), Psychosocial Support (PSS) and emergency response. Working in close consultation & collaboration with external partners, the PQDM will drive coherence, relevance and effectiveness of War Child’s overall Syria response programme, in accordance with humanitarian and sector-specific standards as well as War Child’s mandate & strategy.
You will have proven management experience in the humanitarian/development sector, preferably including international exposure, and be someone who truly understands the challenges of working for an international NGO in a dynamic, global setting. You are ready and eager to lead the development of new programme interventions relevant for the Syria Response and remain continuously primed and committed to respond to new funding opportunities.

Contract
