Role Objective: Activities to includes plan, prepare, design, implement, operate and optimization of data networks. Work closely with System Integrators and oversee the project implementation activities. Job Roles & Responsibilities: Responsible for the Operation and implementation part of the network lifecycle – Network Planning, Design, Implementation, Operation and Optimization (PDIOO). Successful background working with stakeholders to develop architecture framework that aligns strategy, processes, and IT assets with business goals. Work closely with developers & business stake holders, managing ICT projects, and focus groups to avoid redundancy, minimize expenditures, and improve overall synergy within organization. Coordinate with architects and business experts across the stake holders to translate key strategic objectives into actionable and governable roadmaps and designs. Creat future vision architecture to expedite delivery of new products and services to Asset Affairs while meeting company’s cost and risk reduction objectives. 1-2nd Line Management of Reginal Network Management Control room for daily operations, new implementations and future enhancements Interface with Ashghal Corporate Information Security Department to facilitate Network Solutions for various Asset Affairs projects Provide support for complex Network Upgrades and Network Migration activities. Perform root cause analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems. Function as a mentor to train other Junior Engineers s as well as real-time escalation response for support issues for Advanced Technologies under your charter. Understand business goals and how the network operations support those business goals. Develop and maintain strong relationship and introduce new ways of working. Coordinating with Cisco TAC for escalated issue and performing troubleshooting with TAC engineers Educational & Experience: Qualifications Essential 8 + years’ experience in similar role Bachelor or Masters of engineering in Computer Science / Communication/Electronics Ability to analyze, use and configure medium to large networks Must be CCNP certified, CCIE R&S is desirable Must be ITIL V3 certified. Desirable Project Management qualification (PRINCE 2, PMP or equivalent) Substantial exposure to Asset Affairs business functions preferred Voice experience is desirable but not a must Good to have VMware VSphere and virtualization experience Technical Knowledge Should have experience with Designing, Implementing and Troubleshooting of Genetec solutions. Hands on experience of SQL Data base. Experience of the Database purging. Experience on the troubleshooting of the Cameras. Experience on configuration of the Genetec Plan manager & mobile server. Experience on the troubleshooting of the Genetec client application. The Individual Excellent verbal, written, content development and presentation skills. Excellent in presentation skills and willing to do attitude Strong leadership, teamwork, and program/project management skills.
