About the role We are currently recruiting for Uniforms Supply Chain Officer to be part of the Groups Uniform Department in Qatar Airways. This role is responsible for the supervision of the delivery of the complete Supply Chain processes and activities, which includes Uniform inventory planning & delivery management, Outstations & Logistics Operations and Store & Service Delivery for both Doha and Outstations Operations. Specific responsibilities include: Manages end-to-end Supply Chain processes from inventory planning processes of Raw material to final product with supply vs. demand and supply vs. forecast of uniform while assuring optimum cost control. Ensures adequate storage levels are maintained at the main warehouse and maintain inventory levels avoiding Over-stocking at all times and achieving the required KPIs. Keeps customers, management and staff up to date with information related to uniform availability, delivery and issues faced. Tracks the delivery of all supplies, the GRN operation, invoices mapping, delivery compliance with LDT and all supply chain aspects. Handles Outstation Uniforms requests, outbound and inbound cargo shipments. Liaises with main warehouses, station personnel and clearing agents, transporter, security agents and custom clearance team. Coordinates with Cargo and Outstation to smooth transfer of the goods and that all Outstation staff uniform requirements are met in a timely manner. Maintains and compiles cargo shipments & documentation. Updates the system with correct and authentic information, in order to generate accurate reports for management review. Achieves maximum cost control on logistics activates and advises Uniforms Technical Team on over- consumption of quantities / value mapped for outstation and logistics. Ensures stock movement between sub-inventories is performed punctually, comprehensively and accurately. Supervises the daily operations in GUD Store to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction. Supervises the stock movement between the main warehouses and Group Uniforms Department premise inclusive of the stock in-take verification, products verification and sub-inventory transactions. Supervises the daily service delivery of the Alteration and Stitching Services with all sub-activities to ensure smooth operation. Responsible for the submission of PRs, follow-ups and provision of necessary documentation for Procurement Team. Monitors the stock movement for the fabric issued to the Service Providers and ensures necessary stock replenishments are done against the stitching demand. Optimizes and implements the store layout and shelving plans as per operational requirements. Maintains neat, functional and safe presentation of uniform store by implementing effective shelving process and proper warehouse keeping. Provides recommendations to update section Standard Operating Procedures whenever required and ensures full compliance with uniform policy and processes. Together, everything is possible Qualifications About you The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: High School qualification with minimum of 4 years of job-related experience. Previous experience in Supply Chain or Inventory Management. Working knowledge of ERP Modules (Q-styles, I-Procurement, SAP Inventory) Working knowledge of Inventory Management system. With advance knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications. Strong command of English language. Strong team player. Flexible and adaptable to meet the daily requirements and challenges of the operation.
