Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HSE Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an HSE Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures within our company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and minimizing risks in our workplace.Responsibilities:Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate preventive measures.Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.Ensure that all incidents, accidents, and near misses are properly investigated and documented, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.Maintain accurate records of all safety-related activities, including training, inspections, and incident reports.Coordinate with external agencies and authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and obtain necessary permits and certifications.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the companys HSE programs and initiatives, and recommend improvements as needed.Stay updated on industry trends and developments in health, safety, and environmental practices, and incorporate them into the companys policies and procedures.Lead emergency response and crisis management activities, including conducting drills and developing contingency plans.Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into all business processes.Preferred Candidate:Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or industrial sector.Professional certifications in HSE management, such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001.Strong knowledge of local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence employees at all levels of the organization.Proven ability to develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs.Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential hazards and risks.Proficient in using HSE management software and other relevant tools.Fluency in both English and Arabic.
