Our client is looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer located in KSA, Qatar, or the UAE. Applicants from Europe willing to relocate to the GCC region are welcome.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, ensuring that all business activities are in compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards. The COO will also be responsible for setting strategic goals and objectives, developing and implementing effective operational policies and procedures, and ensuring that all departments are working towards achieving the company’s overall mission and vision.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the company in Dubai, ensuring that all departments are working together effectively and efficiently.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that support the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
• Ensure that all business activities are in compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of all departments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
• Manage and allocate resources effectively, ensuring that budgets are adhered to and that operations are cost-effective
• Work closely with the CEO and other senior executives to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging employees to develop new ideas and solutions.
• Act as a key liaison between the company and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in a senior management role, with a proven track record of successfully managing daily operations and achieving strategic goals.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their best.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on data and analysis.
• Experience in the UAE or the GCC region is preferred.
