JOB PURPOSE:
The Country Sales Manager holds end responsibility for achieving the Divisional Budget, with a focus on P&L / EBIT. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing business strategies, introducing long-term initiatives, and providing leadership to the team. This role involves extensive collaboration with the Valve Manufacturing Facility (VMF) and Licensee Agreement partner on technical and commercial aspects.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the Strategy and Business plans.
Introduce new initiatives for long-term business growth.
Lead Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Margin Management, and Project Procurement.
Liaise with VMF and Licensee Agreement partner on technical and commercial aspects.
Coach and mentor the team.
Requirements:
Proven track record in the Oil & Gas/Energy sector, particularly with valves such as Butterfly valves, Ball valves, Gate valves, Check valves, Globe valves, DEP Valves, NL Plug valves, and rising steam ball valves.
Experience in developing strategic partnerships with international OEM partners.
Ability to assess and present product portfolio improvements based on local market trends and client needs.
Solid background in a similar role, servicing O&G clients with a similar product portfolio.
Strong Sales & Business Development experience.
Strategic thinking and ability to develop plans for business units.
Leadership skills with a successful track record.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with over 20 years of experience.
Minimum 10 years as a Management Team member in the Valves Industry.
Experience dealing with major clients and end users, handling (mega) projects, Distributors, and Agency business development in the Middle East.
