IREX seeks a qualified Pre-Service Coordinator to support a five-year USAID-funded Early Grade Education Activity (EGEA) in Jordan. The activity aims to advance national efforts to strengthen the caliber of pre- and in-service teacher education and improve Kindergarten through Grade Three foundational and socio-emotional skills across the Kingdom of Jordan.
Based in Amman and working under the supervision of the Senior Pre-Service Teacher Education (PSTE) Quality Improvement Manager, the Pre-Service Coordinator will coordinate efforts to utilize international accreditation and incentives to drive performance improvement in Jordanian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The coordinator will assist in is involves fostering strong partnerships with HEIs, overseeing improvements in relevance, quality, and access, and collaborating with policymakers. Additionally, the Coordinator will organize professional development opportunities for educators, administrators, and leaders, ensuring effective coordination and communication among stakeholders to achieve the objectives of quality improvement initiatives.
