What will your main responsibilities be

• Work on physical execution of Digital transformation initiatives. This would include working with Site’s production/Engineering Stake holders to execute hardware/software changes on site to serve the site’s digital transformation agenda. Some examples of executional tasks could be:

  • Develop software applications to communicate with hardware on the site.
  • Integrate pre-existing software modules together and/or with newly developed components.
  • Preform upgrades on pre-existing software applications.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/connectivity problems.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting of various software systems.

• Act as a point of contact to offer basic troubleshooting for hardware/software affiliated with site’s Digital infrastructure.

• Be responsible to coordinate with internal factory stakeholders within the design and implementation phase of digital transformation projects.

• You are likely to be a good fit in this role if you love to get on to execution with hardware/software tools in own hands.

What you need to succeed

Experiences & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Electronics or a similar field

• 0-2 years of experience in the Software Development/Manufacturing/Automation field.

• The ideal candidate should have developed fairly complex software components using any programming language.

• The candidate is preferred to have experience in reading/writing/debugging object-oriented programming languages.

• Proficiency to self-learn from resources over the internet.

Skills

• Ability to Communicate/read/write in English language.

• Demonstrated expertise in writing software programs in any programming language (e.g. .NET/C# or Python) is a must.

• Basic understanding of computer networks/IP Addressing/General Network hardware.

• Basic understanding of Electrical wiring/cabling.

• Working knowledge of SQL is a plus.
