Halian Looking for Director, Data Science at United Arab Emirates Full Time

Our Client
We are partnered with a top 10 Consultancy in the Digital & Technology field. On their behalf we are looking to hire a Director, Data Science.
Your Responsibilities

• Work with the business to understand requirements, and use your software engineering, machine learning, recommender system, and natural language processing expertise to make strategic recommendations to create solutions
• Lead a team of 12 Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers and BI Developers, providing vision, direction, and day-to-day management
• Aid in the development of predictive modeling and machine learning solutions for the end-customer.
• Lead multiple data science and engineering teams to deliver all all business engagements under this practice.
• Work with product strategy & product anagement teams to
• Develop and maintain three-year technical roadmap for data, reporting and analytics capabilities
• Effectively deliver multiple, large-scale projects to support implementation of business intelligence, data and analytics capabilities and solutions
• Align products and solutions with overall IT architecture standards and framework

Your Qualifications

• Extensive of experience building advanced analytics solutions industry using techniques from machine learning, data science, statistics, optimization, large scale computing
• Experienced in building analytic solutions in customer-centric domains like Consumer Mobile, Telecom, Retail, Finance, Healthcare, Marketing, IoT scenarios
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in Statistics, Advanced Analytics, Data Science or related subject
• Experience with modern data science tools such as Spark, Hadoop, Storm
