Software Engineer (Scala) 3+ years of hands-on professional development experience using Scala and Scala sbt. Experience working with source control (preferably Git) and Continuous Integration tools such as Travis CI. Experience with Database and SQL (Preferably PostgreSQL). Knowledge of Docker, RabbitMQ or Elastic Search is a plus. Good knowledge of the Play framework and Scala Slick. Experience with web services. Comfortable using Intellij or a similar IDE. Modern web development (e.g., HTML5, JavaScript, Angular) is a plus. Knowledge of Web-based architectures and understanding various types of authentication mechanisms [e.g. Cookie-based authentication, Token based authentication, etc] and authorization mechanisms. Cloud experience is a plus (Heroku, AWS, Azure, Google) Good Communication skills (English is a must). Ability to work autonomously and be self-directed.
