Job Description

Process Control & Quality Assurance part of Governance function within the department (Group SVM & CS) accountable for defining and implementing Policy and Frameworks to ensure strategic alignment, value realization, portfolio management, accountability, project management, risk management, policy adoption and applicable regulatory compliance.

Job Context:

• Provides leadership and accountability, ensuring process compliance and delivering optimal benefits for Groups SVM & CS department
• Responsible for the overall Process Control & Quality Assurance function for the SVM & CS Department for UAE & International
• Responsible for the definition and implementation of Policies and Procedures for Group SVM & CS
• Responsible to act as a Governance SPOC for Group SVM & CS and work in coordination with all control functions in the Bank (including but not limited to Group Compliance, Group Legal, Group Internal Audit, Group Risk Management, etc.)
• Responsible to support and Manage the Risk Remediation projects with in Group SVM & CS in collaboration with all relevant stakeholder’s (GIA/Group Compliance, Operational Risk Etc.)
• Responsible to drive RCSAs and establish KRI and implement periodic monitoring of the same
• Responsible in monitoring Group SVM & CS processes, governance and control and providing timely and accurate management information to Senior Management for critical decision making
• Accountable for ensuring compliance to all the regulatory requirements related to activities with in SVM & CS in coordination with relevant stakeholders (Internal/External)
• Responsible to establish the International Governance across all international locations and monitoring of the same
• Responsible to support all confidential investigations as per senior management requirement
• Responsible in improving the department’s risk profile by strengthening internal controls and risk management process.
• Conduct analysis and evaluation to validate internal control design and its effectiveness, to maintain internal sanctity of the processes across Group SVM & Corporate Services departments both UAE and International.
• Responsible in identifying processes inefficiencies and recommends measurements, improve service quality and ensure compliance from service standards, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business administration or equivalent is a must.
• Professional certification like CPA/ MBA preferred
• Quality Management System Certified – QMS 9001:2015 is good to have
• Six Sigma Certification is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting processes and procedures
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and
• Strong verbal, written and communication skills
• Ability to lead engagement, manage key executive relationships and work independently

Minimum Experience

• 8-10 years of professional experience in areas of Governance, audit, Internal controls, risk , procurement & finance with at least 3 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in business management function
