The E-Commerce Intern is responsible for assisting the Founder & Managing Director and Business Development Manager in developing and managing e-commerce activities for Diapoint.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

This position reports to the Business Development Manager

LOCATION

While the company is located in Dubai, we will consider applications who are located in other cities. Due to the nature of the work, some of it can be done remotely.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in managing our online shop, new products and working with our fulfillment center and business partners to support a high-quality customer experience.
Support online merchandising and the creation of product content to ensure that it is relevant, and engaging
Prepare weekly updates and reports to track growth and success rates
Research new products
Support the development and review of pricing strategies
Support and attend local events
Support the photography and videography of any new products

QUALIFICATIONS

Understands e-commerce. Shopify, Amazon or Noon experience a plus.
Working knowledge of standard business programs such as well as Microsoft office
Ability to take initiative, employ good judgment, and manage projects from beginning to end independently
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Exceptional attention and ability to manage details
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to meet deadlines and to anticipate next steps or needs
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

REQUIREMENTS

Must attend regular, weekly meetings either face to face if located in Dubai, or virtually as scheduled
A masters degree in business, or relevant field or equivalent work experience
Desire to learn and deliver high quality work to support the organization and our clients
Must have a proactive approach to work and be able to work independently.
