Our field services team support the on-site installation, maintenance and planning of our industry-leading products for our global customers.Partner with the bestAs a Directional Driller, you will be responsible for providing solutions at well sites. You will work under general supervision, collaborating closely with the Directional Drilling team. Utilizing computers, youll perform site surveys, monitor surface and formation evaluation services for wells during the drilling process.As a Directional Driller, you will be responsible for: Operating all of the surface and downhole directional drilling equipment, including all types of surveying tools as required by contract. Designing bottom hole assemblies to drop or build angle at various degrees of severity. Operating the onsite computer services equipment to meet all the requirements of the equipment Using the jet deflection method to kick off a well. Performing all normal rig site calculations associated with directional drilling and the use of CONTRACTOR-supplied computer hardware and software This shall include all survey calculations, well to-well clearance calculations, Ellipse of Uncertainty calculations and well path projections. Participating in risk assessments.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in providing Directional Drilling Services Be experienced with the adjustable bent housing, steerable motor assemblies, rotary steerable systems, and other relevant drilling tools used on the rig. Be experienced with wells with over 65 of wellbore inclination and ERD applications Be knowledgeable about COMPANYs requirements regarding well clearance and proximity based on the use of Ellipse of Uncertainty calculations. Be fluent in the English language (i.e., speaking, reading, and writing)Work in a way that works for youWe recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.This role is working with our customer on-site in locations across the world. When onsite, you will have the flexibility to work in line with customer working patterns.
