Job Description
Work in a place where your team values you. As an Assistant IT Manager you will be responsible for the supervision and handling of day-to-day IT operations. To ensures that timely IT support is rendered to all departments, especially in areas with guest contacts.

What you will be doing
• Manage and support all the systems in the operations.
• Monitor the operation and security of all computer hardware and ensure that it is operating properly
• Perform regular system’s health check to ensure optimum performance of servers and network
• Ensure that all software runs with no output errors, no response time problems and functioning according to specifications
• Maintain accurate inventory and record of all hardware, software, and manuals purchased.
• Evaluate, test, and deploy all software and hardware upgrades to the server infrastructure
• Prepare a monthly report regarding the systems and issues related to smooth operation of application software
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
• Assist in developing, implementing, testing and maintaining server level disaster recovery plans
• Manage & troubleshoot mailing, anti-virus and anti-spam system
• Oversee database backup, and perform recovery and recovery test
• Work closely with the rest of the team to provide end-user support and issue resolution
• Research, evaluate and recommend system technologies to support business requirements
• Create and maintain documentation for all processes and procedures
• Create and develop IT department policies, standard operating procedures, safety, and evacuation procedures.
• Ensure that the IT team has a complete understanding of and adherence to the policies, standard operating procedures, safety and evacuation procedures
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
• Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
• Microsoft Certified System Engineer, MCSE
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in a similar capacity
• Good leading and communication skills
• Solid understanding of Microsoft operating system, networking and Microsoft back office server products such as Active Directory, Exchange Server and Operation Manager
• Up to date skills within a server environment and storage area network (SAN)
• Experience on enterprise backup solutions
• Solid system and applications problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in English language
