Brunel Looking for Commercial Analyst at Qatar Full Time

About this role:

• Ensure all SERVICES are undertaken in compliance with COMPANY Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality policies as required by this CONTRACT, as well as all applicable regulations
• Upon request from COMPANY, contribute to the development of Qatari employees by providing training and mentorship for a Qatari trainee for this position
• Ensure all activities undertaken comply with anti-trust and competition laws and the COMPANY firewall policies and procedures.What you need to bring:
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Marine Transportation, Marine Engineering, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years experience in industry, preferably in the energy sector, in a data analytics role that entails working with large volumes of data, data regression and trend identification, simple economic analyses (discounted cash flow, etc.), and simulation modelling
  • Excellent analytical skills with an understanding of financial analysis and economic concepts. Strong MS Excel skills are required
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to demonstrate conceptual thinking skills
  • Good written and spoken English skills, strong skills in report writing and presentations
  • Good time management, leadership, developmental and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of Safety, Health and Environmental
  • Standards as they relate to the oil & gas industry and the marine environment
  • Basic knowledge of gas/oil industry bodies, National and International maritime and shipping regulations.
