Job Description
A Lighting Project Sales Engineer is responsible for generating revenue by selling lighting products and solutions to realestate developers, commercial and industrial clients. Thejob descriptiontypically includes the following responsibilities:Sales: The primary responsibility of aLighting Project Sales Engineeris to sell lighting products and solutions. This includes identifying potential customers, developing relationships, and closing deals. The sales process involves understanding customer needs, analyzing theirlighting requirements, and proposing suitable solutions that meet their needs.Project Management: The Lighting Project Sales Engineer is responsible for managing lighting projects from start to finish. This includes ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer. The Sales Engineer should also be able to coordinate with other stakeholders involved in the project, such as architects, engineers, contractors, and electricians.Technical Expertise: A Lighting Project Sales Engineer should have a strongtechnical understandingof lighting products and solutions. They should be able to providetechnical supportto customers and demonstrate how their products and solutions can meet their lighting needs.Customer Service: The Lighting Project Sales Engineer should be able to provide excellentcustomer serviceand follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction. This includes addressing any issues that arise during the project and providingongoing supportafter the project is completed.Business Development: The Lighting Project Sales Engineer should be able to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the business. This includes developingmarketing plans, attending trade shows, and networking with potential customers and industry professionals.Reporting: The Lighting Project Sales Engineer should be able to provide regular reports on sales activities, project status, and customer feedback.
