Description:
Dubai-based beauty company looking for Merchandising Manager to manage inventory and net margins of a range of departments through ideal ordering for a desired stock cover (within OTB) and healthy net margins through controlled markdowns. Arabic language highly beneficial.RESPONSBILITIES:• Maintain and update OTB (Open-To-Buy) and order for new and core, within the OTB.• Forecast sales of core lines based on historical sales, new stores, trends and place reorders accordingly.• Forecast and place orders for New Launches and work on Initial Allocation / Model Stock.• Compare Planned Sales versus Actual sales and take necessary corrective steps to maintain brand stock cover at the lowest level possible.• Monitor and Analyze Best Sellers/ Worst Sellers and New Launches.• Propose Promotions / Markdowns to achieve planned Margins and analyze the results.• Approve POs and be informed on Orders / Delivery and other product related issues. (Delays, quality etc.)• Ensure the inventory is healthy via Cycle / Full count.• Visit stores and warehouse to check stock integrity on the system.• Regular analysis of the brand on various aspects and reports for the business.• Coordinate with the Warehouse. (On allocation status, revising model stocks etc.)• Joint visits to the stores with buyers, Assistant Merchandise and Retail team on regular basis.• Support all automation initiatives of the organization (ERP, Systems etc.)• Undertakes special projects / studies, to improve system, work flow and overall growth of the business.• Arrive, execute and lead on policies and procedures related to merchandising with other support groups.• Work with Internal Audit to ensure stock data is accurate• Develop brand KPI’s with your Manager and deliver the agreed result.• Manages team and drives meetings in the absence of MP Manager.• Cross functional working with VM to obtain optimum range by store class.• Actively suggest discontinuations of poor selling SKU’s and works with buying to suggest replacements.SKILLS:• Excellent numeric, logical and analytical skills.• Very enthusiastic and able to engage in any challenge.• Has an excellent team working skills with the ability to initiate.
