Job SummaryTo providethe leadership and strategic planning of the outpatient program offered at the facility; ensuring the program meet the needs of the patients and the facility?s performance goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the overall administrative processes and management systems for all services offered at the OPD, promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, and development and implementation of a clinical treatment programs.Job Responsibilities 1Provides leadership and strategic direction to the Outpatient Department and is responsible for the accurate and timely credentialing, privileging and insurance plan provider enrolment processes.Works directly with Senior Management in development and implementation of strategic and operational direction of the Outpatient ClinicsCoordinates as needed with the various departments in the hospital to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and to ensure patient safetyDevelops innovative strategies for improvement to ensure optimal functioning of the department and compliance with Ministry of Public Health, regulatory requirements, policies, and processes.Ensures compliance and delegated credentialing contracts, policies, and procedures; directs preparation and coordination of credentialing audits and mandated reporting.Maintains, analyses, and reports the applicable indicators regarding operations and the strategic development of services within the Outpatient ClinicsWorks directly with physicians as applicable to ensure that the physicians? requirements for providing care to patients are met, within applicable meansReviews, interprets, and provides considered and timely advice to the senior leadership team regarding regulatory guidelines, including medical staff bylaws, corrective actions and the fair hiring process, rules, regulations, and policies.Responsible for the oversight of clinical /services with continuous evaluation of efficacy, quality of service and recommendations for changes when needed.Job Responsibilities 2Leads team meetings within designated programs.Conducts ongoing review of clinical activities and enhancement in performance and services including intakes/admissions and discharges.Develops, implements and maintains continuous quality development for outpatient and day treatment services through procedures, manuals, training materials, participation in trainings, best practices, using staff and the research literature as resources.Ensures that clinical supervision is received by all clinical staff appropriate to individual?s level of education and expertise.Serves as a key liaison for the programs and direct the resolution of inquiries, problems, complaints, or emergencies affecting availability or quality of services; respond to sensitive or complex inquiries, service complaints, or grievances filed.Responsible for monitoring and ensuring staff and physician documentation is complete, within expected timeframes, and written in an accurate, legible, and concise manner. Ensures staff records follow the regulatory bodies and agency?s methods of Quality Assurance.Documentation must meet quality standards established by regulatory bodies and the agency.Monitors monthly productivity and census expectations of programs in order to meet financial targets and goals, holding strong knowledge of lean management, cost reduction and control.Builds and maintains effective working relationships with internal, external providers, as well as other regulatory bodies.Establishes plans that enhances Outpatient Clinics image as a reputable healthcare facility, in line with The View Hospital Mission & Vision.Additional Responsibilities 3Job Knowledge & SkillsKnowledge of JCI accreditation standards.Thorough knowledge of Ministry of Health, regulations, laws, and utilization review committee planning, organization, and management.Knowledge of medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations, and the state peer review statute.Strong understanding of clinical research trials related medical practice, clinical decision-making, healthcare systems, reimbursement, and other aspects impacting patient care.Excellent communication skills, using the spoken word, writing clearly and concisely, and presenting information publicly.Excellent knowledge of Reporting & Analyzing Outcomes, KPIs.Strong knowledge in Branding in a competitive Market.Job ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in healthcare (required)8 Years Managerial ExperienceMinimum 3 years in GCC (preferred)CompetenciesAgility – AdvancedCreates Strategy M2Cultivates Loyalty & Integrity – AdvancedDemonstrates Accountability – AdvancedDemonstrates Resilience – AdvancedDevelops Future Leaders M2Displays Customer Centricity – AdvancedDrives Performance M2Promotes Teamwork – AdvancedShows Entrepreneurial Spirit – AdvancedStrives for Innovation – AdvancedEducationMasters degree in any related field
