Description:
We are urgently hiring a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for managing financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic insights to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities: –
Prepare and consolidate financial statements, reports, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Work in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts, incorporating input from various stakeholders and aligning with strategic objectives.
Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
Monitor and control costs, expenses, and budget variances, implementing measures to optimize efficiency and profitability.
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, ensuring adequate funding for operations and strategic investments while minimizing financial risks.
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, taxation requirements, and accounting standards in UAE and KSA, liaising with external auditors and regulatory authorities as necessary.
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks and uncertainties associated with UAE and Saudi Arabia operations, implementing appropriate controls and risk management strategies.
Requirement: –
Attested Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred.
Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably within the construction industry or related sector.
Proven track record of financial management, reporting, and analysis, with strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
Experience in multinational or regional financial management, particularly in the Middle East, with familiarity with UAE and KSA regulatory environments.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Accounting Software (e.g. Xero).
