The Engineer – Technical Support within Core Services facilitates the information technology requirements for the research team. The Engineer is responsible for meeting information technology needs and making recommendations. The Engineer provides user support to employees and will coordinate the requirements of the Research staff and corporate IT. The Clinical Nurse – Care Coordinator provides patient and family centered care support services to children and families. The primary focus of the Clinical Nurse – Care Coordinator is to use a collaborative process of assessment, planning, education, care coordination, evaluation, and advocacy to meet an individual’s and family’s comprehensive health needs through hands on care and proper communication. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for competently providing safe and effective care to patients and families,. The Clinical Nurse assesses care needs, plans, and implements and evaluates programs of care. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard. The Clinical Nurse participates in the supervision and teaching of more junior and new members of staff within the unit. The Clinical Nurse is professionally accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer. The Specialist – Child Life Services I under the supervision of the Supervisor – Child Life Services, competently provides safe and effective child life support to Women, Children and Families within Sidra Medicine. This position assesses and provides services in response to the identified psychosocial and developmental needs of children and their families. This position provides education and coping support to children and families to reduce the stress and anxiety accompanying hospitalization and other aspects of health care. The Specialist – Child Life Services I will be responsible for supporting training of, and working with Child Life Assistants and volunteers, as well as providing educational experiences for Child Life students. Working with the Pathology Clinical Manager and the Technologist II, the Technologist I – Microbiology assists in the validation of all equipment and processes within the laboratory, preparation of policies and procedures in accordance with CAP-ISO15189 and JCI, and training of staff in specific techniques, as appropriate to the expertise and experience of the post-holder. The Audiologist provides highly specialized autonomous patient care and is involved in the prevention, identification, assessment, and rehabilitation of auditory function, balance, and related systems incorporating the principles of family centered care. The overall goal of the service is to optimize and enhance the ability of an individual to hear in order to restore communication function. The Audiologist works in collaboration with other members of the health care team and strives to provide evidence-based care by integrating research with practice. S/he promotes continuous improvement and helps to generate innovative ideas within audiology and maintains a commitment to life-long learning. S/he ensures comprehensive analysis, integration and interpretation of test battery results to formulate and implement appropriate audiology management care plans. The Physician – Adolescent Medicine is responsible for the delivery of high-quality evidence-based care; effective and efficient diagnosing, managing and treating all patients placed under the role holder’s care. The Physician – Adolescent Medicine makes recommendations, orders appropriate therapeutics and diagnostics as per the patient’s diagnosed condition. The Psychologist – CAMHS (Master’s) is responsible for providing specialist psychological intakes, assessments and interventions for children and adolescents (C&A) patients. The incumbent is responsible for evaluating complex psychological data and formulating/ implementing a formal psychological treatment plan for the patients. The incumbent is also responsible for providing specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to the patient’s treatment plan. You must be currently licensed in your Country of Origin as a Psychologist to be eligible for Licensing in Qatar. You should have had 5+ years’ experience as a practicing clinical psychologist, psychological counselor, or psychotherapist, inclusive of 2+ years in the area of child / young adult psychology. Fluency in Written and Spoken Arabic is highly preferred.
