Job Description
- His duties include inspecting the vehicle’s mechanical components, under chassis parts and its engine, diagnosing problems with vehicles and performing maintenance and repair work on cars, trucks and other vehicles.
- Can identify diesel and gasoline engine classification and parts operation.
- Solid knowledge in diesel and gasoline engine operation and troubleshooting.
- Solid knowledge in diesel and gasoline engine Overhauling (disassembled and assembled).
- Must have basic knowledge in diesel and gasoline engines electrical systems like starting, charging, fuel delivery and ignition systems.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics.
- Knowledge in using precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Must know how to use power tools properly and safely.
- Practice occupation health and safety.
- Communicate and respect to the workshop supervisor in charge.
Skills
High school diploma is preferred.Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred.Valid certification (e.g. Automotive Servicing NC2 or higher) is a definite plus. Knows how to drive vehicles both manual and automatic equipped transmission (having a valid driver’s license is an advantage).Proven experience as auto mechanic (employment / training certificate).Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles.Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.Excellent physical condition.Can work under pressure.Excellent problem-solving skills.Effective collaboration and communication skills, Arabic language is preferred.Ex abroad (Saudi) is preferred.
