VDOMUS Hiring for General Accountant Job at Dubai Full Time

General Purpose

Accountant has to provide support to the CFO by managing daily accounting tasks. Responsible for the general accounting function including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting CFO in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

· Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

· Track and monitor accounts receivable

· Issue and prepare invoices

· Track and monitor accounts payable

· Perform reconciliations, payment via Internet banking

· Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements, reports on the company’s liquidity

· Adhere to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines

· Update financial data in a timely manner

· Ensure that information is accurate

· React in a timely manner if the information is not accurate

· Support CFO, CEO

· VAT submission

Education and Experience

· Min 2 years of experience as a Junior Accountant in UAE

· Analytical mind

· Critical thinker

· Love for numbers

· Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

· Excellent knowledge of MS Office

· Additional qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) are a big advantage

· BA, MBA in accounting or finance

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED8,000.00 per month
