We are looking for Commis 1 to join our exceptional team for our speciality restaurant in a hotel in Juffair.
IF YOU ARE:
- Non-Muslim (pork is included in the menu)
- In Bahrain and can join immediately.
- Exceptional English communication skills.
- Experience in Asian cuisine will be a big advantage (Korean and Japanese)
YOUR ROLE:
- Prepare and cooks food and mise-en-place as per requisitions, recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality of food preparation according to standard recipes.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Minimize spoilage, waste, proper storage and exercising strict potion control.
- Perform the tasks set forth by the hotel to the highest standard.
- Comply with fire, life and safety (FLS) regulations and all health and food safety regulations.
- Receive deliveries and verify that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality.
- Clean and sanitize he working surfaces, tools, utensil and working area before and after usage as per good safety standard.
