The Fitness Coach will be responsible for delivering a first class fitness experience to members of the facility and will focus on the delivery of high-level group fitness classes, as well as the selling and conduction of individual and small-group Personal Training. This will involve communicating with facility members (provided by the facility or self-generated), the marketing of fitness classes and Personal Training services, the delivery of fitness classes and consultation/induction sessions to communicate the value of the Personal Training service, achieving class attendance and monthly Personal Training sales targets, and building a client base with high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Key Results Areas Include –

• Delivering an exceptional fitness experience to all members, non-members and users of the facility.

• Marketing of fitness classes and Personal Training services within the facility.

• Finding prospects, contacting/generating leads and making appointments for consultations/inductions.

• Finding prospects, contacting/generating leads and encouraging/promoting group fitness classes.

• Presenting and explaining the group fitness classes and schedule, as well as the Personal Training services and offerings.

• Reaching daily, weekly and monthly targets.

• Basic sales related administration.

• Deliver superior levels of service.

• Member retention.

Experience & Competencies –

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitness Coach.

• Relevant degree and/or a recognised Personal Trainer qualification.

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience of group fitness or mixed martial arts disciplines.

• Excellent knowledge (practical & theoretical) of fitness and nutrition.

• Excellent sales skills.

• Great communication skills.

• Friendly and approachable with an outgoing personality.

• Cooperative, positive and optimistic.

• Ability to enjoy working with a diverse range of people.

• Able to project self confidence in own abilities.

• Able to prioritise work, handle pressure and take confident day-to-day decisions.

• Willingness to work unsociable hours.
