About the job
We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated junior tax professional to become part of an expanding team in a dynamic market. As a Tax Associate, your main role will involve researching, reviewing tax documentation, drafting memorandums to provide guidance to local and multinational corporations regarding their complex web of local, regional and global tax considerations that affect their business activities.

About your responsibilities
Your role will involve drafting and executing of various tax advisory and compliance projects (in the field of Indirect (VAT, Customs and Excise tax), Direct taxation (Corporate Tax) and Transfer Pricing) for businesses operating in a wide range of industries.
About You
To consider your application for this role, you must have
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, Business Development, or a related field. Good to have a Masters degree, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent tax/accounting/law qualification;
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in taxation, preferably with a top consulting firm (BIG 4 or Tier 2 consultancy firms);
- Experience in the UAE and broader GCC tax regulations and compliance requirements;
- Exposure to tax advisory, compliance, M&A and dispute resolution projects;
- Strategic thinking and strong business understanding, analytical and verbal/written (report writing) communication skills;
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills; and
- Fluency in English
