Responsibilities
Lead, manage and contribute to geotechnical investigations and assessments.
Undertake geotechnical assessments using specialized softwares such as GeoStudio, Rocscience, PLAXIS 2D and 3D, Pdisp, Repute and Wallap.
Understand materials testing objectives, construction drawings and design reports to support geotechnical investigation and design recommendations.
Provide guidance and troubleshooting for quality control testing and performance of materials such as soil and concrete.
Contribute to the development of project proposals/cost estimates and participate in the process of securing new business opportunities or expanding the scope of existing projects.
Analyze and prepare recommendations and reports for projects relating to foundation design, infrastructure, shoring, retaining walls, slope stability, road structure design, materials testing, and other geotechnical related projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
6 years Work experience as a Geotechnical Engineer within middle east.
Registered with ICE as chartered engineer is preferred.
Demonstrates organization, team collaboration, proposal and technical writing skills, and excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in Geotechnical engineering software.
Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.
Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
Outstanding problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
