Job Description
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting. Generate leads and build a pipeline of potential clients for custom software development projects.
- Business Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and proposing suitable software development solutions.
- RFP/RFQ Management: Read and understand RFPs/RFQs from potential clients. Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical requirements and create comprehensive and compelling technical proposals. Ensure proposals are submitted on time and in accordance with client specifications.
- Client Presentations: Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, effectively showcasing the benefits and value of our software development services. Address client inquiries and concerns, providing accurate and timely information.
- Negotiation and Contract Closure: Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties. Coordinate with legal and management teams to finalize contracts and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor. Provide exceptional customer service and address client needs throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape. Conduct market research to identify potential areas for business expansion and differentiation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the software development or IT industry.
- Strong understanding of custom software development processes and technologies.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, such as RFPs and RFQs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for achieving results.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
