Sihamco Group is seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef specializing in Mediterranean cuisine to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading our Mediterranean kitchen, creating and executing a menu that showcases the vibrant flavors and diverse culinary traditions of the region. If you have a strong background in Mediterranean cooking and are looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your talent, we would love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesCreate and execute a menu that reflects the vibrant and diverse flavors of Mediterranean cuisineDevelop recipes and dishes that highlight the best ingredients and techniques from the regionSupervise and oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentationManage and mentor the kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure excellenceEnsure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulationsSource and select high-quality Mediterranean ingredients and productsStay updated with the latest culinary trends and techniques in Mediterranean cuisineCreate and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize food quality and profitabilityCollaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and promotionsWork closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfactionRequirementsProven experience as a Head Chef in a restaurant specializing in Mediterranean cuisinePassion for Mediterranean cuisine, with a deep understanding of the diverse flavors, ingredients, and techniquesCulinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferredStrong leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a teamExcellent culinary creativity and ability to develop innovative and authentic Mediterranean dishesThorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong organizational and time management skillsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
