Sidra Medicine’s Department of Radiology has multiple campuses and an international reputation for providing excellence in clinical care, teaching and biomedical research. The Department of Radiology coordinates its medical services and collaborates its research and educational activities with Weill Cornell Medical College – Qatar. The Pediatric Nephrology Nurse Specialist is a trained nurse with experience who is an integral member of the Pediatric Nephrology multidisciplinary team and clinical practice who will be contributing to state of the art patient care delivery. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for competently providing safe and effective care to patients and families. The Clinical Nurse assesses care needs, plans, and implements and evaluates programs of care. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard. The Physician – Pediatric Dermatology is responsible for the delivery of high quality evidence-based care; effective and efficient diagnosing, managing and treating all patients placed under the role holder’s care. The Physician – Pediatric Dermatology makes recommendations, orders appropriate therapeutics and diagnostics as per the patient’s diagnosed condition. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for competently providing safe and effective direct care. The Clinical Nurse assesses care needs, plans, implements and evaluates programs of care to include patients and families. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard, aligned to Sidra Standards of Practice. The Clinical Nurse participates in the supervision, orientation and training of staff and is responsible for education of patients, families and students. The Clinical Nurse is professionally accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer. The Technologist – EEG performs routine and portable EEG studies on pediatric inpatients and outpatients. This includes documenting patient histories, proper electrode application, identifying and resolving artifact in the recording, correlating clinical events to the EEG, performing appropriate activation paradigms and preparing preliminary reports. He/ She integrates evidence based medicine into their methods, participates in continuing education and assists in clinical research projects. The Technologist – EEG conducts their recordings according to best practices and policy while being sensitive to the demands of working in a pediatric environment. The Audiologist provides highly specialized autonomous patient care and is involved in the prevention, identification, assessment, and rehabilitation of auditory function, balance, and related systems incorporating the principles of family centered care. The overall goal of the service is to optimize and enhance the ability of an individual to hear in order to restore communication function. The Audiologist works in collaboration with other members of the health care team and strives to provide evidence-based care by integrating research with practice. S/he promotes continuous improvement and helps to generate innovative ideas within audiology and maintains a commitment to life-long learning. S/he ensures comprehensive analysis, integration and interpretation of test battery results to formulate and implement appropriate audiology management care plans. The Executive Director – Operations and Hospitality (Women’s Services) is a highly capable leader with strategic insight and experience, in charge of driving Women’s Services strategic planning. The Executive Director develops organizational goals, establishing polices and provides leadership, direction and support towards achievement of the strategic organizational goals. S/he is also responsible for ensuring that all recommendations, decisions, directions and actions made and associated with this role are carried out in accordance with and support the strategy, values and guiding principles of Sidra Medicine. The Executive Director – Operations and Hospitality (Women’s Services) provides oversight, leadership, and management required to ensure that the operations of the Women’s services line of business grows and expands, offering exceptional service and a unique experience.
