Job Summary & PurposeResponsible for driving the establishment and growth of Retail operations in KSA. Responsible for developing and executing financial strategies, overseeing commercial activities, Business and project planning support and ensuring the successful launch and ongoing profitability of the business in this new market for Sharaf DG.Key Performance Areas (KPAs) & Principal Accountabilities:Financial Strategy & Planning:Develop a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the companys overall goals for the KSA expansion.Create detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and projections to guide decision-making and resource allocation.Identify potential financial risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions to optimize financial performance.Business and Project plan feasibility evaluation and ongoing feedback to Senior Management.Modify financial plan and budget amount based on the changes in business plansCommercial Operations:Lead the development and execution of the commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.Liaise and guide the local Category teams to establish pricing strategies, product assortment plans, and promotional initiatives tailored to the Saudi Arabian market.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) and HO teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives – Coordinate with operations, buying, marketing, and customer service teams to support in business operations effectively.Be a key party in negotiations for contracts with vendors along with merchandising teams and inspect and approve all vendor contracts and account expenses of the company.Financial Management & Controls:Setting up the SAP ERP system with appropriate financial controls.Manage financial operations, including budget allocation, cash flow management, and financial reporting.Monitor financial performance against targets, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax/ Zakat requirements, and reporting standards.Overseeing all Payables & receivables activities and leading the concerned resources to ensure seamless payment & collections to and from vendors.Team Management:Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and commercial team to support the KSA expansion.Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement ? Uphold SDG values of Transparency, Result orientation, Customer Orientation and Employee Centricity.Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders at headquarters and external partners in Saudi Arabia to ensure alignment and effective communication.Engage with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to establish a strong presence in the local business community.Risk Management:Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the companys assets, operations, and reputation in the KSA market.Monitor geopolitical, economic, and industry-specific risks and proactively adapt strategies accordingly.
