Join our innovative team at PERI as a Senior Design Engineer, where you will lead the creation of advanced formwork solutions, ensuring project success and profitability. With over 5 years of experience in the construction sector and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, you will perform complex design calculations, generate 3D models, and develop detailed material lists. You will guide and review junior engineers, present engineering solutions, and provide on-site technical support. Proficiency in structural analysis tools, strong interpersonal skills, and a goal-oriented mindset are essential for success in this dynamic role.
• Design advanced formwork solutions to align with project goals and ensure profitability for PERI
• Perform and document design calculations for complex solutions, including the use of in-house structural analysis software, to ensure safe and economical designs
• Generate and assemble 3D models of PERI systems and customized components
• Develop a comprehensive and accurate list of materials, including quantities, specifications, and part numbers, to facilitate smooth procurement and construction processes.
• Conduct presentations to effectively communicate the benefits of the engineered solutions
• Establish project plans and ensure continuous monitoring of progress, while tracking and closing out any open issues
• Provide concepts and design direction to junior team members
• Review and approve designs of more junior team members (as experience dictates)
• Visit job sites and provide technical support when required
• Participate in Training / E-Learning / Certification as assigned
