About The Investigations & Compliance Team

As part of our expanding Investigations & Compliance team, you will work at the forefront of today’s most complex business challenges. Our highly accomplished expert team includes forensic accountants, certified fraud examiners, digital forensic specialists, big data experts, and former regulators all working in concert to provide the investigative, business intelligence, and regulatory compliance solutions that address today’s most daunting business threats.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assignment from cradle to grave including designing and implementing the investigation plan, reporting, and presenting the investigation findings, and maintaining responsibility for the budget and administrative aspects.
• Lead on delivery and development of forensic analysis and investigations
• Preparing, interpreting, and auditing accounts
• Analysing, modelling, testing, documenting, and presenting financial scenarios, identifying risks and issues
• Compliance (e.g., risk assessment, monitoring, remediation)
• Perform analysis and report to clients
• Engage in marketing activities including the drafting of articles, participation in webinars/seminars, and supporting and promoting Secretariat events.
• Prepare, and present as part of a team, pitches, and commercial/technical proposals for prospective clients.

Requirements

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent international accountancy qualification
• Up to five years experience within an investigation practice, ideally with part of that experience spent within a consulting firm. That experience should include investigations of the following themes: fraud, asset misappropriation, bribery and corruption, IP theft, financial misreporting, undisclosed relationships, and asset/individual tracing.
• Excellent verbal communication and report writing skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem resolution abilities.
• Developed commercial judgment.
• Additional languages would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• The ability to travel.
• The desire to join in with, and/or lead, auxiliary tasks associated with a growing practice within a rapidly growing firm.
