Role Description:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals involved in the development process, providing direction, motivation, and support.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, government officials, regulatory authorities, and community members.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends in the Dubai real estate market and develop strategic plans for property development.
Oversee project budgets, expenses, and financial performance, monitoring costs, revenues, and profitability.
Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with projects and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
Establish quality standards and ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, environmental standards, and other applicable laws and regulations.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, investors, and stakeholders on project progress and performance metrics.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Development, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
More than 5 years of experience in real estate development project management, preferably in Dubai or the Middle East region.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively with stakeholders.
Solid understanding of Dubai’s real estate market, including market trends, regulations, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Sound financial acumen with the ability to manage project budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
Knowledge of sustainable building practices and environmental regulations.
Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) are desirable.
