Recent digital transformations within the company have led to the creation of an exciting new position as they continue to invest across their digital and data Centre of Excellence, this position will see you join the newly created Chief Data Office.
Based in Dubai, our client is actively seeking international talent to relocate to take on a position as the Head of Data Engineering. You’ll be a hands-on contributor whilst simultaneously leading the Data Engineering team as the company continues to grow their Centre of Excellence.
This is an excellent opportunity to become a thought leader for the Data Engineering team at one of the world’s oldest and most influential Retail Groups. Your work will allow the team to leverage data-as-a-service and meet their goal of providing omnichannel customer experience.
Key Skills and Experience:
A results and detailed orientated professional with 8+ experience in Data Engineering
Experience leading a high-performance team to deliver quality results
Experience in customer analytics use cases
Demonstrated experience working with key stakeholders using data to deliver quantifiable business benefits
Certified Google Cloud Data Engineer or Architect
Advanced Python/Scala coding skills
Proficient in SQL
