Provides technical support to Technical Quality Department leadership and personnel.
Work in a dynamic business environment where activities are increasingly complex and workload is rapidly increasing. Appropriate administration, desimination and distribution of data and documents for the department presents an ever increasing challenge. Act as a focal point for the NCR Process starting from DR generation till the NCR closure. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with other groups within the organisation. Work covers designated areas of Drilling and Completion, Petrophysics and contractor activities and/or locations. Operates in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment that requires the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel. Training new technical assistants and provide support to whoever needs assistance regarding the NCR Process and Procedure. Maintain knowledge of company guidelines and policies pertaining to position’s scope. Assist with routine contacts between the office and the Contractors. Expedite/courier documents and material as necessary. Coordinate Quality Section’s Personnel issues with the Department Secretary. Interact well with organisation and contractor employees and management in all disciplines. Frequent reporting of nonconformance status to Contractor personnel and management. Frequent reporting of nonconformance status to Subsurface personnel and management. Raise and track PRs for TQD requirements.
Stewards database(s) to ensure data accuracy and integrity, including the NCR database and SAP system.
Checks and verifies reliability of database source information.
Maintains, organizes, analyzes, updates and retrieves data from SAP, Access, appropriate data files.
Updates records accordingly in SAP and/or other corporate systems.
Retrieves and prepares data required to generate report, charts, and presentations.
Identifies information processing problems and escalates to leadership, where applicable.
Provides point of reference on simple aspects of work for guidance on practices, precedents and techniques.
Provides support to junior staff in order to train them.
Establishes documentation system to ensure proper storage and retrieval of required documents.
Initiates appropriate paperwork to support and advise customers, superiors and junior staff.
Secondary school (12 years) formal education.
5 years of relevant experience.
Very good knowledge of standard computer software.
High level of technical competency related to clerical processes in a quality environment.
Some knowledge of financial and budgetary processes.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Proficient keyboard and PC skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to conduct routine technical tasks with minimal guidance or corrections.
Ability to carry assigned special tasks to timely completion with appropriate Engineering guidance.
