Hiring Material Inspector (Electrical & Instrument) for long term contract, Qatar for Material Inspector – E&IMin*i*mum Qualification/Experience E*ducation: * Min Qualification requirement is 2 years technical training certificate (ITI) after school or equivalent in Instrumentation or Electrical or Electronics certificate course with 8 years’ experience in Petrochemical / Oil / Gas industries. 3 Years diploma in relevant engineering is preferred. Ex competency Certification as per IEC 60079 part 14 and 17 listed below with 2 years’ post certification experience required for all selected candidates. Ex01-Preparation &Installation of Ex’d’, Ex’e’, Ex’n’ and Ex ‘p’ system . Ex02-Inspection &Maintenance of Ex ‘d’ Ex’e’, Ex’n’ and Ex ‘p’ system . Ex03 – -Preparation &Installation of Ex ‘I’ System. Ex04 – Inspection &Maintenance of Ex ‘I’ System E*xperience: * 6-year hands-on experience as Material Inspector, related Electrical and Instruments in oil, gas, petrochemical or fertilizer which include Knowledge of field instruments used in Petrochem, Oil, gas industries.Interpersonal skills to work in close coordination with Client Supervisors/Engineers.Ex competency CertificationLiaison with planning, services and production departments.Good safety leader. Fully conversant with Safe working practices.Knowledge of gas, oil and utilities plant processes.Communication skills.Computer skills- MS Office, MS ProjectSAP R3 skillsGulf experience preferable (not mandatory)Ensure high level of materials integrity, which entails; technical support in maintaining material/service masters and bill of materials, technical evaluations, and materials inspection.Pro-active inspection of Shutdown & turnaround materials.Monitor and report progress of material status on shutdown and turnarounds.
