Plant Maintenance Supervisor – Electrical & Instrumentation Job Objective Supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance (breakdown and emergency) activities for the Plants, DCP Buildings and Energy Transfer Stations as required. Responsible for the Electrical maintenance schedules and activities of technicians. And take charge of the Mechanical team if the Mechanical Supervisor is not available. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities People Management Coach and mentor direct subordinates to develop their skills and ensure continuous people development. Lead the technician teams and supervise and execute the preventive and corrective maintenance work to be done in Building, Plants and ETS’s. Maintenance & Planning Prepare the maintenance schedules and allocate and prioritize work accordingly. Create daily maintenance report of all maintenance activities carried out and submit to Maintenance Superintendent and provide adequate training for his team. Buildup, implement and fill up the data into CMMS. Provide the Procurement team with relevant information for ordering materials for maintenance of Instrumentation and Control Systems. Supervise the maintenance of the fire alarm system. Seek out the customer to discuss challenges and use this information to affect planning and decision making. Develop and use systems to organize and keep track of information or work progress. Prepare the lists for all spare parts required for proper operation of the plants and operational systems. Identify and monitor required spare parts. Ensure that proper housekeeping is implemented. Participate in maintenance improvement projects for DCP Building, Plants, PDN’s and ETS’s. Assist in inspections of plants that are under construction and participate in coordination of maintenance issues with contractors and provide technical maintenance insights and evaluations. Qualifications, Experience & Skills Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical Experience: At least 7 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 1-2 year in a supervisory position Job-Specific Skills: Good knowledge about related computer software such as AUTOCAD, SCADA, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, and other job-related software Proven track record in maintenance within district cooling/ HVAC related organization Solid customer services background Strong people management skill Duration of Contract & Availability: 6 months +Extendable Candidates must be available in Qatar and will be able to join within 15 days.
