With our continuous growth, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exclusive and exciting opportunity to join our Cargo Operations Team in Doha as a Cargo Operations Policy and Procedure Specialist.
The role will be responsible to contribute to developing and documenting policies and procedures related to QR Cargo Operations in line with the company, divisional, and departmental objectives. This role will also ensure alignment with all regulatory requirements, including safety management system protocols.
Some of the tasks include:
- Monitor local and country regulations in conjunction with IATA, regional, country and airport/city employees and develop/ update policy to ensure QR Cargo compliance.
- Work with Cargo stakeholders (Compliance, Operations [Head Office, QAS Cargo and network], commercial, Group stakeholders [GS&S, Flight Ops, Ground Services, Technical, etc.], and other stakeholders to continually improve policies and procedures, whether the content or the communication of, to ensure they are fit for purpose to facilitate divisional and group objectives.
- Document QR Cargo Operations policies and procures, including revisions and guidelines, as dictated by subject matter experts and Manager Cargo Quality and Service Standards.
- Coordinate with peers to ensure policies and procedures on various disciplines are aligned to create a seamless experience for internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as SME for assigned area, whether technical writing, special cargo, global rules, etc.

Qualifications
About you
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 4 years of relevant experience within the air cargo/ airfreight industry / ground handling agents (GHAs)
- Good technical writing experience as well as recommending or developing policies and/or procedures
- Good experience in documenting business workflow processes
- Strong command of the English language
- Ability to seek and apply feedback as well as data to drive continuous improvement
- Analytical with high- level problem solving and decision- making skills
