NRC is implementing a Shelter Program in the Zaatari/Azraq refugee Camps in Jordan; the project aims to support refugees in the camps to have improved coping strategies through the provision of adequate housing and support for their ability to meet their basic needs. The Shelter Officer / Infrastructure Maintenance officer is responsible to plan and manage the Shelter Technical Construction Units, but also being part of field teams to conduct assessments, designs, and BBQs, and supervising and monitoring rehabilitation works as per NRC’s standards and guidelines. In addition, to ensure workflow is adequate and up to the agreed standards, meeting deadlines and targets.
