Job Description
Monitoring the implementation of unit services and operations and ensuring the achievement of unit targets
Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Assessing patients’ physical and emotional status, and providing individualized care plans appropriate for radiology procedures
2. Administering contrast agents and medications as prescribed by the radiologist, and monitoring patients for any adverse reactions
3. Explaining radiology procedures to patients and their families, and answering any questions they may have
4. Coordinating patient care with other healthcare professionals, such as radiologists, technologists, and referring physicians
5. Monitoring and documenting patients’ vital signs before, during, and after radiology procedures
6. Maintaining accurate and complete medical records and documentation of radiology procedures
Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and the overall quality of care in the radiology department

8. Educating and mentoring other nursing staff on radiology procedures and patient care
9. Adhering to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice, including patient confidentiality and informed consent
10. Ensuring that equipment and supplies are properly maintained and available for radiology procedures
11. Monitoring annual performance indicators and strategic goals of the unit and working to achieve them
12. Entering patient data electronically into hospital and radiology systems
13. Checking the medical equipment in the department and ensuring its validity and passing quality tests

15. Providing necessary support to the direct manager and performing any other tasks assigned within the scope of his job responsibilities
required academic degree
Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Nursing or equivalent
Training & Skils
• ACLS (If available)
• BLS
• Quality Assurance in healthcare
• Planning, scheduling, and monitoring skills
• Ability to provide different solutions to problems
• Communication skills and ability to build good relationships
• Fluent in speaking and writing English
• Professional use of Microsoft Office programs
• Licensed by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
Experience
One year at least
