Job Description
The Cyber Security Director will be responsible for establishing the Cyber Security function from scratch. He/she will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our cybersecurity strategy and operations, as well as building the the team.The Cyber Security Director will also ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and standards.Client DetailsOur client is an iconic Vision 2030 project based in Riyadh.DescriptionThe Cyber Security Director will be responsible for:Developing and implementing the cybersecurity strategy in alignment with IT and overall company strategyRecruiting and managing a team of cybersecurity professionals and external partners to enhance security postureWorking closely with the executive team and cross-functional departments to develop and implement effective cybersecurity policies, procedures, and cybersecurity toolsBuilding the SOC functionEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practicesStaying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats and technologies, and recommend appropriate measures to enhance the companys security postureProcuring security systems and toolsPreparing and presenting regular reports on the status of cybersecurity projects, key metrics and potential risks to senior management and stakeholdersProfileThe Cyber Security Director will be/have:At least a Bachelors in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science or a related field of study (Masters degree is preferred)Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.10+ years of Cyber Security experience, of which at least 5+ years must have been in a leadership roleBuilt Cyber Security departments from scratch in previous roleIn-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices, including network security, endpoint protection, identity and access management, encryption, and incident responseExperience with security assessment frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and their implementation.Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia, such as NCA requirementsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse complex situations and develop effective solutionsExceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisationWillingness to be hands-onBased in/willing to relocate to RiyadhJob OfferAn attractive salary package with family benefits will be on offer for the successful candidate.
