MicroMentor is an initiative of Mercy Corps’ Innovations Team. MicroMentor connects entrepreneurs and business mentors on an easy-to-use social platform that strives to overcome geographical limitations and deliver business resources at scale to under-resourced communities around the globe. We are the world’s largest network of free business mentoring. Entrepreneurs matched with a mentor have shown significant results in terms of improved job creation, business survival, and revenue growth. MicroMentor was launched in the MENA region in 2020, with a localized Arabic platform, and a strong team based in Jordan to manage the initiative. MicroMentor in MENA is funded by Google, and USAID, through the the Informal Livelihoods Advancement Activity Iqlaa.
The MicroMentor MENA Project Lead oversees the implementation of MicroMentor in the region, and is responsible for fulfilling donor and partner commitments with high quality and efficiency, by successfully leading program activities and reporting. The Project Team Lead manages MicroMentor partnerships in Jordan, and supports partnership implementation in other MENA countries.
The Project Team Lead will manage the implementation team, and work closely with the Global Programs Officer on designing and leading project plans to drive MicroMentor success.

Living Conditions / Environmental Conditions
This position is based in Amman.
Mercy Corps team members represent the agency both during and outside work hours when deployed in a field posting or on a visit/TDY to a field posting. Team members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and respect local laws, customs and MC’s policies, procedures, and values at all times and in all in-country venues.
